SERVICES FOR OCTOBER
Sunday 17th October – Harvest Festival Service at 10.45a.m. This service will have a harvest theme and hymns led by our regular vicar Rev: Terry Dyer to celebrate this years harvest and next years crops, which will no doubt be drilled and showing green shoots by then! Followed by coffee at 11.30a.m. If anyone has any fruit or vegetables left at this late date we would welcome them.
Sunday 24th October – Morning Service at 9.30a.m. This is a quiet, spoken service in our Lady Chapel with coffee at 10.00a.m.
Sunday 31st October – Commemoration Sunday at 10.45a.m.
We have chosen this day to especially remember all the many friends and family who died during the sad days when funerals were limited to small numbers and many of us were not able to pay our respects or celebrate their lives.
To let us know the names of loved ones, who you would like read out at this service, please either e mail me on firstname.lastname@example.org or fill in the form at the back of church. This enables us to prepare the list before the service. During the service everyone will have a chance to light candles to form a large cross of remembrance. Please also include any one else who has passed away but you would like to remember.
All services will be held in the BStJ Church where you will receive a warm welcome.
